Shardul Junagade

Hello! I’m Shardul Junagade and I’m currently pursuing my B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Gandhinagar.

I have been passionate about Mathematics from a young age, which has shaped my analytical thinking and problem-solving approach. This led me to explore Deep Learning and Computer Vision. As an undergraduate ML researcher at IITGN’s Sustainability Lab under Prof. Nipun Batra, my research explores domain adaptation for brick kiln detection from satellite imagery, contributing to environmental sustainability.

In addition to ML, I am passionate about competitive programming, data structures & algorithms (DSA), and software development. I enjoy solving challenging algorithmic problems, exploring new technologies, and building impactful projects. I also serve as a CDS Internship Coordinator at IITGN, facilitating industry connections and opportunities for my peers.

When I’m not coding or researching, you’ll find me watching some sci-fi show or reading books. I also enjoy listening to music to relax.
